Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manny Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diedrich Kamphmann! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stone scores with a shot to the body.
Kamphmann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kamphmann has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stone is landing a low percentage of strikes. Kamphmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Stone sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Stone changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Horrible takedown attempt by Kamphmann or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone, which made it look bad. Manny Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diedrich Kamphmann. Stone scores with a head kick.
Kamphmann changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Kamphmann manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kamphmann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kamphmann off to one side. Kamphmann looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamphmann shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stone napping and manages to drive through into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kamphmann tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Stone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Kamphmann lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Stone manages to get to full guard.

Kamphmann gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kamphmann defends well. Kamphmann in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kamphmann postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kamphmann distracts Stone with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Kamphmann works over Stone with some ground and pound from guard. Stone is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kamphmann's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kamphmann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kamphmann stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Stone has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kamphmann manages to get his head free but now Stone has transitioned to an armbar! Kamphmann grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Stone! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

A very excited looking Manny Stone made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
