Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkov is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Major Lazer & DJ Snake - Lean On (feat. MØ). Alexander Volkov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Bueller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Volkov! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Bueller sprawls well. He's pushed Volkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Volkov shoots in for a takedown but Bueller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bueller lands a nice looking body shot.
Volkov misses with a takedown and Bueller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Eric Bueller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Volkov. Bueller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bueller scores with a hook to the body. Volkov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Bueller fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Bueller throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Bueller slaps away a takedown attempt from Volkov, before circling back to the center of the mat. Volkov blocks a head kick by Bueller.
Bueller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bueller closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Volkov manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bueller's best efforts. Volkov is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bueller wants to work for an arm triangle but Volkov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bueller looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bueller seems to be working for a kimura but Volkov defends the submission attempt. Bueller missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Volkov won't allow Bueller to pass to mount. Bueller is looking for a kimura but Volkov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bueller to get the leverage. Volkov looking for submissions off his back. Bueller seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Volkov trying to get back to full guard but Bueller takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Volkov is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bueller unloads with some shots from mount but Volkov bucks and avoids them well.
Volkov manages to regain half guard. Good work. Bueller perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Volkov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Volkov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bueller. Volkov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bueller. Volkov regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bueller. Bueller has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bueller throwing strikes from guard but Volkov blocks nicely. Volkov is looking for a triangle here but Bueller uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Volkov dodges the ground and pound from Bueller. Bueller remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Bueller decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bueller scores with a jab to the head.

Bueller is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Volkov's half guard. Bueller wants to free his trapped foot but Volkov is holding on for dear life with his legs. Volkov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bueller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Bueller dominated that round. That's time! Bueller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bueller is looking to chop away at Volkov's legs. Bueller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bueller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Volkov tries to avoid it but Bueller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Volkov to the ground. Volkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Volkov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bueller is able to avoid easily. Bueller lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bueller shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Volkov eats them both and turns towards Bueller to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Volkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bueller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bueller. Bueller has Volkov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Volkov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bueller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Volkov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bueller smiles and moves away.
Volkov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bueller defends well and Volkov ends up having to push Bueller into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Eric Bueller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Volkov. Bueller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Volkov. Bueller seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Bueller lands with a kick to the temple. Volkov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Volkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bueller counters with a left and a right that stings Volkov.
It looks like Alexander Volkov has been cut. Volkov fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Volkov is breathing heavily. Bueller with a nice cross. Bueller throws a head kick but Volkov moves out of range.
Eric Bueller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bueller clinches up against the cage. Bueller goes for a takedown attempt but Volkov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Volkov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bueller changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Volkov tries to avoid it but Bueller manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Volkov to the ground. Volkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Volkov with a lazy takedown attempt and Bueller holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Bueller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bueller looks to land a combination. Volkov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bueller moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Volkov jabs at Bueller's body. Volkov throws a nice looking combination but Bueller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Volkov misses with a looping right. Bueller is looking to counter punch. Volkov moves out of range as Bueller throws a body kick.
Volkov takes one to the side of the head.
Volkov dives in and grabs Bueller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bueller pushes down on Volkov's head and hops out. Bueller throws a leg kick that misses. Bueller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Volkov with a poor takedown and Bueller counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bueller. Volkov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bueller walks away with a smile on his face. Volkov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bueller tries to land a leg kick but Volkov saw it coming and moves away.
Bueller throws a head kick but Volkov moves out of range.
And Volkov tries to counter it with a takedown but Bueller pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bueller throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Volkov was covering up waiting for the punch and Bueller finishes the takedown easily into guard. Volkov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bueller throwing strikes from guard but Volkov blocks nicely. Bueller tries to free his leg and advance position but Volkov is retaining full guard. Volkov wants to sweep here but Bueller controlling him for the moment. Bueller stands and throws Volkov's legs to the side, diving into side control. Volkov regains half guard. Bueller sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Volkov defending well though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Volkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bueller not landing any meaningful shots this time. Bueller seems to be working for a kimura but Volkov defends the submission attempt. Volkov has hold of Bueller's hands but Bueller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Volkov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Eric Bueller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bueller working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Volkov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bueller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Volkov. Bueller wants to control but Volkov is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Bueller dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Alexander Volkov's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Volkov throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Bueller to counter with a crisp jab. Bueller bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. A combination from Bueller does no damage. Bueller closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Volkov's guard. Volkov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bueller doesn't defend quickly enough and Volkov has managed to lock this one up! Can Bueller escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Volkov on a fantastic submission victory.
