Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oliver Queen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Desean Bryant! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryant dives in and grabs Queen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Queen pushes down on Bryant's head and hops out. Bryant closes the distance and clinches. Bryant tries for a takedown but Queen manages to get underhooks.

Queen has Bryant pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bryant manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Bryant changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Queen fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Oliver Queen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desean Bryant. Queen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bryant fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Queen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Queen misses with a head kick.
Queen scores with a decent looking hook. Queen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Queen pushes Bryant up against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Queen prevents the takedown attempt.
Bryant is trying to maintain a safe position but Queen gets an underhook and turns Bryant into the cage. Queen wants a takedown but no success here.
Bryant is looking for a takedown. Queen has clasped his hands together around Bryant's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Bryant explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! This has been an exciting period of action! Queen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queen postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Queen cracks Bryant with a solid left hand. Bryant is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Queen makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Queen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Queen throwing strikes from guard but Bryant blocks nicely. Queen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Queen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Queen throws a big elbow that misses. Queen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bryant is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Queen won't allow Bryant to sweep him here. Bryant throws a couple of heel strikes.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Queen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Queen missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bryant working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Queen won't allow Bryant to get back to his feet. Bryant avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Queen postures up in Bryant's guard and throws a big left but Bryant blocks it. Queen lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Queen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bryant's head. Bryant throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Queen postures up in Bryant's guard and throws a big left but Bryant blocks it. Queen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Queen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bryant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Queen defends well. Queen chips away with some ground and pound. Queen stops Bryant from standing up. Queen with a flurry of punches that miss. Queen chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bryant manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Queen manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Queen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bryant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bryant working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Queen's head. Queen is pulling down on Bryant's head to control his posture. Bryant won't allow Queen to sweep him here. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bryant working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Bryant has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Queen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bryant's guard. Queen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Queen stands up out of Bryant's guard for a moment - Bryant manages to land a nice upkick. Queen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Queen throws a big right hand that misses. Bryant trying to control the position.

Queen working some strikes from top position. Queen is looking to work some ground and pound but Bryant has wrist control. Queen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Queen throwing strikes from guard but Bryant blocks nicely. Bryant throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Bryant is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Queen works over Bryant with some ground and pound from guard. Bryant is still in real trouble! Can Queen finish him? Queen landing with the ground and pound. Queen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oliver Queen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bryant looks for a takedown but Queen sprawls well. Queen connects with a crisp jab. Bryant shoots in looking for a takedown. Queen tries to sprawl out of it but Bryant keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Queen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice uppercut there from Queen. Queen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Queen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Queen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bryant throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Queen is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Bryant fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Queen to the ground. Bryant is now in Queen's guard. Queen managing to control the position. Bryant postures up and lands a big shot to Queen's brow. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Queen has his foot on Bryant's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bryant works his way back into a safe position though. Queen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bryant postures up.
Queen wants to sweep but no luck. Bryant wants to control from the top but Queen keeps moving. Queen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Queen lands with a punch from half guard. Queen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queen seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Queen slips a nice elbow through Bryant's hands, connecting with Bryant's forehead. Queen lands a big elbow - Bryant is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Queen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oliver Queen! A very excited looking Oliver Queen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
