The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bigarms gets a clinch.
Bigarms breaks from the clinch.
Bigarms fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Valencia drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bigarms sprawls and moves away.
Bigarms tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Valencia swivels and escapes.

Valencia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bigarms swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Valencia postures up in Bigarms's guard and throws a big left but Bigarms blocks it.
Bigarms wants to get back to his feet but Valencia is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valencia wants to pass the guard but Bigarms is keeping the position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Bigarms shoots in and drives through. Valencia sprawls well.
Jack Bigarms seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valencia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bigarms moves away.
Valencia shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bigarms manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bigarms has momentary wrist control but Valencia slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bigarms lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Errol Valencia will probably get the nod.

As Bigarms tries to get set, Valencia tries to push him back and clinch up but Bigarms manages to avoid the attempt.

Valencia is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bigarms is trying to escape and Valencia transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bigarms is forced to tap! Nice work there by Valencia! Very nice indeed!
