Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alistair Spong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spong has chosen 2Pac - I'm A Soldier (Echale Mojo Remix) as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe throws out a powerful jab.
Doe misses the shot to the body.
Joe Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Spong misses with a two punch combination.
Doe blocks a head kick by Spong.
Spong checks the leg kick nicely there.
Doe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Spong.
Doe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack in the buildup to the fight.
Doe takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Joe Doe has been cut.
Spong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Spong has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Spong moves out of range as Doe throws a body kick.
Doe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Spong momentarily.
Doe throws a hook to the side of Spong's head but Spong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Spong lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Doe wants to slow Spong down by chopping away at his legs.
Spong misses with an uppercut. Doe saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doe goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Doe's corner calls for a 1-2. Doe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Spong misses with a low kick.
The crowd cheers as Doe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Spong doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Alistair Spong has been cut.
Doe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Spong's calf.
Doe thows a left - swing and a miss!

Spong moves away from the strike by Doe.
Doe darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Spong throws a poor cross that misses
and Spong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Doe throws out a loose jab but Spong uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spong lands with a hook. Doe tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Doe.
Spong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Spong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Joe Doe's cut is getting worse.
Spong cracks Doe with a left hook right on the temple and Doe goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Spong lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Doe is OK!
