Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Campion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxx Elorde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matthew Campion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxx Elorde!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campion slips a jab and a cross from Elorde.
Campion looks to throw a body kick
and Elorde counters with a nice uppercut.
Campion misses with a body shot.
A left and a right from Elorde both land. Nice combination.
Elorde ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Campion moves away.
Campion throws a lazy head kick
letting Elorde counter with a right hand.
Elorde connects with a body shot.
Elorde catches Campion with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Elorde's corner calls for a 1-2. Elorde obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elorde checks a leg kick.
Elorde lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Campion takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Elorde connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Campion momentarily.
Elorde throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Campion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Elorde swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Campion dodges the punch combination from Elorde.
Elorde goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Matthew Campion has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Campion scores with a leg kick.
Campion takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Elorde throws a series of punches but Campion moves out of range.
Campion takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Campion throws a lazy head kick
and Elorde counters with a nice uppercut.
Elorde jabs at Campion's body.
Elorde lands a left and a right that send Campion crashing to the mat, dazed. Elorde thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Campion is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Campion misses with an attempted mid kick.
Oh Campion is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Elorde lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Campion at a distance.
Campion seems to have got his legs back now.
Campion is breathing heavily.
A low kick from Campion misses
and Elorde counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Elorde cracks Campion with a hook to the temple - Campion is on wobbly legs here! Elorde swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Campion falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Elorde wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Maxx Elorde!
