Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corey Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Traylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by The House of The Rising Sun - The Animals. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Traylor's coach down at Forcefield Ludas was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Traylor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circling - Traylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Traylor forces Parker back against the cage and clinches.
Traylor stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Parker misses with a punch on the inside.

Parker can't find room to land a body shot as Traylor controls the action.
Parker lands a left hand that snaps the head of Traylor backwards.

Parker pushes Traylor back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Slade Traylor has been cut.
Parker tries to work over Traylor's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Parker wants to take the fight to the mat but Traylor manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Traylor tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Traylor blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Parker pushes off an throws an elbow but Traylor leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Nice body punch from Traylor - that landed with a thud.

Parker drops down looking for an ankle pick but Traylor pulls his leg out and moves away.
Parker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Traylor throws a hook but Parker avoids it easily.
Corey Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Traylor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Traylor rushes Parker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Traylor swings away with an uppercut that misses.

We've been hearing reports that Parker has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Traylor lands an elbow inside that Parker shrugs off.
Parker struggles to land a body shot inside as Traylor controls his hands.

Traylor drops Parker onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Parker is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Traylor pushes Parker against the cage. Traylor is working some dirty boxing. Traylor pushes off with a quick right hook! Parker goes down! Parker tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Traylor moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Slade Traylor! Slade Traylor retains his heavyweight title!
An out of breath Slade Traylor thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
