The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddox on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Maddox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maddox takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Maddox throws a jab when Raudrson was well out of range.
Maddox avoids the body shot from Raudrson.
A telegraphed right hand from Maddox misses the target.
Raudrson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Powers Fighting Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Maddox throws a series of strikes that have Raudrson backpedaling.
Raudrson jabs Maddox to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Raudrson lands a nice hook to Maddox's body. Maddox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maddox takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Maddox looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Raudrson lands with a good body shot.
Maddox sizes up Raudrson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Raudrson lands a glancing blow to the side of Maddox's head.

Raudrson attempts a counter takedown but Maddox avoids it well and moves away.
Maddox takes one on the button.
Raudrson throws a series of strikes that have Maddox backpedaling.
Raudrson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Marc Maddox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Raudrson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maddox.
Raudrson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Raudrson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Maddox on his heels. He'll look to pass Maddox's guard now, I'm sure.
Raudrson wants to control from the top but Maddox keeps moving.
Maddox can't keep his opponent in guard - Raudrson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Maddox is trying to stand back up but Raudrson is controlling him
Raudrson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Raudrson is trying to work for a kimura but Maddox is defending well.
Raudrson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Maddox sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raudrson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Maddox pushes Raudrson off looking to stand but Raudrson dives back in and keeps control.
Raudrson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Raudrson passes the guard and advances to mount!
Raudrson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Raudrson extends the arm and Maddox is forced to tap!
