The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barron tries to sprawl but Miller drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Miller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Barron is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily.
Barron wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Barron gets back to full guard.
Miller wants to pass the guard but Barron is keeping the position.
Barron wants to sweep but no luck.

Miller trying to control but Barron is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller distracts Barron with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Barron wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment.
Barron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barron is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miller defends well.

Barron has his foot on Miller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Miller works his way back into a safe position though.

Miller looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Barron flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Barron is pressing down on Miller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Miller is in close to Barron's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Miller content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Barron has locked up a guillotine! Barron's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Miller is holding on here and Barron must be using up a lot of energy. Miller has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Barron gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
