The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruglov has closed the distance and engaged Carrera in a clinch.
Carrera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Carrera has taken the fight to the clinch.

I was talking to Kruglov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Carrera has had enough of the clinch but Kruglov keeps him there for the moment.

Kruglov drops Carrera with a right and a left! Kruglov comes rushing in but Carrera regains his composure and manages to keep Kruglov in guard.

Kruglov steps in with a hook that catches Carrera right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kruglov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Carrera looks absolutely devastated.
