The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irwin shoots in for a takedown but Callahan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Callahan shoots in and bounces Irwin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Irwin has control of Callahan's left arm, preventing Callahan from doing any damage.
Irwin is continuing to stall.
Irwin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Callahan is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irwin has his hands on Callahan's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Irwin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Callahan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Irwin is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Callahan has his hands clasped together but Irwin extends and breaks Callahan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Irwin.
