The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ambrose avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ambrose has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD: Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hrolf checks a leg kick.
Ambrose drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Ambrose throws a hook but Hrolf avoids it easily.
Ambrose looks to land a body kick but Hrolf moved away.
Tallak Hrolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hrolf scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Curtly Ambrose has been cut.
Hrolf closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ambrose wants to get back to full guard.
Ambrose has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hrolf is on him like a limpet, forcing Ambrose back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hrolf misses with a punch to the body.

Ambrose tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Ambrose works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hrolf pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut there from Hrolf .
Hrolf throws a lazy right hand but Ambrose sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Ambrose counters with a nice kick to the body.
Good leg kick by Ambrose there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hrolf moves out of range of the leg kick from Ambrose.

and Ambrose counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ambrose lands a jab to the head.
A head kick lands from Hrolf that sends Ambrose to the canvas. Ambrose tries to scramble back to his feet but Hrolf brings him back down into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hrolf crunches a massive hammerfist down on Ambrose - he's out! Hrolf Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
