Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hashir Khan!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stewart drives through with a takedown into guard.
Khan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Khan is trying to keep Stewart in close.

Stewart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stewart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stewart's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stewart would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Stewart keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Khan's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Khan looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stewart passes into half guard.
Khan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Khan shoots for a takedown but Stewart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Khan keeps control of Stewart as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Khan tries to pull guard but Stewart forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Khan misses with a hook from the clinch.
Stewart wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Khan has him pressed against the cage.
Khan is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stewart pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Khan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Khan looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Stewart is pressed up against the cage. Khan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stewart down to the mat. Stewart avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Khan shoots in but Stewart avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Stewart could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stewart throws a sloppy head kick and Khan moves out of range easily.

Stewart has managed to clinch.
Khan is looking to take this one to the mat.

Khan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Khan misses with a wild body shot.
Khan dives in for a single leg takedown but Stewart sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Stewart lands a knee to the head.

Khan tries to break the clinch but Stewart is controlling the position.
Stewart keeps control of Khan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Stewart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Stewart decides to stand back up. Stewart steps back and let's Khan get back to his feet.

Stewart feints and as Khan raises his hands in defense, Stewart changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stewart tries to stand but Khan is controlling from the bottom.
Stewart is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stewart lands a couple of elbows.
Stewart is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Khan can do to turn this around?
Stewart wants to get up but he can't break Khan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Khan shoots in looking for a takedown but Stewart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Khan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As Khan looks to move away, Stewart throws a big counter combo but Khan just gets out of the way.
Khan shoots in for a double leg but Stewart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Stewart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Khan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Khan goes for a takedown attempt but Stewart pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Stewart takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Khan wants to get back to his feet.

Stewart moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Stewart has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Stewart tries to roll over but Khan keeps him under control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Scotty Stewart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Stewart is trying to maintain the position but Khan is very close to passing his half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Hashir Khan.
Well Stewart has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
