Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Logan Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Moss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Logan Jr!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Logan Jr misses with a wild combination.
Moss went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Moss uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Logan Jr.
Moss half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Logan Jr throws a body kick that misses.

Logan Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moss was covering up waiting for the punch and Logan Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Moss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Moss can't keep his opponent in guard - Logan Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Logan Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moss lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Logan Jr shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Logan Jr showed some decent athleticism there.

Logan Jr is just content to waste time from the top position. Moss takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moss is working hard here to advance position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Logan Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Moss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Logan Jr closes the distance and pushes Moss back into the cage.
Moss fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Moss.
Logan Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Moss shoots in looking for a takedown. Logan Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Moss keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Logan Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Logan Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moss moves away.
Logan Jr throws a low kick, looking for Moss's leg but Moss calmly moves out of range.

Logan Jr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Logan Jr is stalling here. Moss is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Logan Jr seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Moss has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Logan Jr has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
