Twborg kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heavy Hitter. Johnny Twborg has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLauhglin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McLauhglin has closed the distance and engaged Twborg in a clinch.
McLauhglin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

McLauhglin jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Twborg wants to stand but McLauhglin is controlling his posture from full guard.
Twborg has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Twborg has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Twborg pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McLauhglin is keeping the position for now.

Twborg has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McLauhglin is proving hard to escape from.
McLauhglin can't keep his opponent in guard - Twborg advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
McLauhglin has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Twborg. Oh but McLauhglin has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Twborg goes limp - he's gone! McLauhglin jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
