Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hirohito Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Queen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hirohito Sato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Oliver Queen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queen works the jab nicely.
Sato throws a head kick but Queen moves out of range.
Sato takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A shot to the liver by Queen. Beautiful body shot.
Sato definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Sato wants to clinch up but Queen keeps it at a distance.
Queen throws a nice looking combination but Sato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sato tries to counter by clinching up but Queen breaks away and moves out of range.
Queen feints a jab promting Sato to slip. Queen then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sato slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Queen throws a hook but Sato avoids it easily.
Queen scores with a jab to the body.
Queen throws a hook to the side of Sato's head but Sato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sato tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Queen connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sato. Sato circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Oliver Queen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sato takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Queen throws the left hand but Sato avoids the punch easily.
Sato on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from Sato misses.
Sato tries to clinch up.
Sato tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Queen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Queen jabs Sato to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Queen throws a one two combo.
Sato finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Queen looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sato avoids the body shot from Queen.
Queen throws out a loose jab but Sato uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sato with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Queen to score with a decent uppercut.
Queen has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Queen throws a nice looking combination but Sato bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Queen looks to land a right hand but Sato moved out of range.
A big left from Queen misses.
Sato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Queen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Queen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Oh Sato is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Queen weaves into range and cracks Sato right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sato goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Queen is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Oliver Queen!
Oliver Queen seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
