Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Meredith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Liddell could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lee Meredith's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a takedown attempt - Meredith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Liddell shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Liddell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Meredith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Meredith is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Meredith bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Liddell pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Meredith taps out and this one is all over!
