Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between War Dawg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawg kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Raise hell- hed pe. Dean McGee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, War Dawg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dean McGee! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawg thuds his right hand into McGee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dawg displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McGee. McGee pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. McGee slips under a jab from Dawg. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dawg enables McGee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dawg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dawg not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McGee stands and steps away. Dawg gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. McGee shoots in for a takedown but Dawg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Dawg is looking to counter punch. Dawg has been working on his boxing with his coaches at aLion's MMA in the buildup to the fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McGee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McGee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. You can see the frustration on Dawg's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGee in side control, just content to control the action for now. Dawg tries to get back to half guard but can't. McGee working away. Dawg is looking to regain half guard here but McGee keeps moving and retains side control. McGee working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dawg is looking for a sweep. Dawg struggling a bit here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dawg is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McGee has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Dawg lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Dean McGee has been cut. Dawg scores with a jab. Dawg clobbers McGee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Dawg jabs McGee right on the nose. McGee blinks but takes it well.
McGee is rocked! McGee feints a jab promting Dawg to slip. McGee then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dawg slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. McGee closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dawg did well to prevent McGee getting side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dawg makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dawg. McGee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Dawg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dawg working for a triangle but McGee defends it easily.
Dawg has a closed guard, preventing McGee from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McGee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Dawg is trying to hold McGee in close to prevent damage but McGee has managed to pass into half guard.
McGee is working for a kimura but Dawg is defending it quite comfortably.
Dawg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McGee on the ground. Dawg is trying to maintain the position but McGee is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that War Dawg will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dean McGee's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dawg connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. McGee takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McGee looks for a takedown but Dawg sprawls well. Dawg swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Dean McGee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dawg scores with a jab. McGee throws a body shot but no joy. Dawg fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. McGee shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dawg misses with a two punch combination.
Dawg throws a good cross that connects.
War Dawg is winning the standup battle so far. Nice uppercut there from Dawg. McGee is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawg finish him? McGee is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGee slips under a jab. McGee seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dawg cracks McGee with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. War Dawg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dawg lands a big right hand that sends McGee crashing to the mat! Dawg stays standing though and waves McGee back to his feet! Dawg misses with a straight left. Dawg sends McGee crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Dawg is motioning to the referee to let McGee up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dawg drops McGee with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dawg follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). War Dawg! During a confident post fight interview, War Dawg thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
