Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roscoe Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jahmari Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jahmari Martin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jahmari Martin! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Jacobs enables Martin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jacobs manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jacobs has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Martin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Martin drives through and clinches with Jacobs against the cage.
Jacobs is trying to pull guard but Martin has him pressed against the cage. Martin tries to land a knee to the head but Jacobs blocks with his arms.
Jacobs has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Martin uses from the top position. Martin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jacobs's head. Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Jacobs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Martin throws a big elbow that misses. Jacobs working for a triangle but Martin defends it easily.
Jacobs is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Martin. Jacobs on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Jacobs manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Jacobs manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Martin looking to pass the guard. Martin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jacobs keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully.

Martin with a flurry of punches that miss. Jacobs kicks Martin off and gets to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Martin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jacobs pushes Martin off and gets back to his feet. Jacobs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martin but Martin pushes him off and we're back to square one. Martin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Martin moves into the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Jacobs prevents Martin from breaking the clinch. Martin stalling in the clinch but Jacobs improves position. Martin is trying to stall.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jacobs slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Martin. Jacobs seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Martin on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Jacobs sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Martin defending well though. Martin is looking to improve his position.
Jacobs working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Martin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jacobs sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Jacobs gets to his feet. Martin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Martin has managed to clinch.
Martin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jacobs tries to pull guard but Martin forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jacobs is trying to pull guard but Martin turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roscoe Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacobs tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Martin smiles and moves away.
Martin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Martin lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Jacobs manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Jacobs manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Jacobs jumps guard but Martin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Martin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Martin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Martin is trying to keep Jacobs in close.
Martin is breathing heavily. Jacobs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Martin's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs gets to his feet - Martin follows without any prompting. Jacobs gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Martin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Martin gets the takedown into side control. Martin trying to control the position but Jacobs is working away. Jacobs is working to avoid the ground and pound but Martin connects with a decent elbow. Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jacobs. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jacobs is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Martin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Jacobs manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs goes for a double leg but Martin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Martin continues to drive forward. Martin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jacobs napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jacobs sneaks out the side door and pushes Martin away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jacobs is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Martin can do to turn this around? Horrible takedown attempt by Jacobs or perhaps it was just good defense by Martin, which made it look bad. Martin looking to score a takedown here. Jacobs is defending well but Martin drives through and ends up in Jacobs's guard. Jacobs is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Martin presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Jacobs drags the fight down to the ground.

Roscoe Jacobs dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Martin throws a half hearted mid kick. Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown but Martin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jacobs's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Martin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jacobs tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Martin is in Jacobs's guard. Jacobs uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Martin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Martin has managed to clinch.
Martin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Martin successfully pulls guard.
Martin has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jacobs has passed into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin can't do much from the bottom here. Martin is looking to reverse the position. Jacobs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working. Martin sneaks back into half guard. Martin tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jacobs has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jacobs controlling the pace for now. Jacobs trying to control but Martin is having none of it. Jacobs raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jacobs lands a couple of good shots and Martin has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Jacobs misses with a punch to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jacobs slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
I really don't envy Martin right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jacobs trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Martin doesn't escape. Jacobs has the hooks in. Martin is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jacobs's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Martin is in bad spot here.
Martin is trying to shake Jacobs off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Jacobs won't be happy about giving up the dominant position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jacobs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Martin swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roscoe Jacobs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jacobs blocks a head kick by Martin.
Jahmari Martin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roscoe Jacobs is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Martin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jahmari Martin. I think Jacobs has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
