Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Clarence Pennington! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fah Queue! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Queue, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pennington fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Queue, pushing him back against the cage. Queue's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pennington dodges the punch combination from Queue.
Queue throws a right and a left that both miss. Fah Queue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pennington pushes Queue up against the cage in a clinch. Pennington tries to throw a body punch but Queue avoids it by throwing Pennington back against the cage. Pennington looking for a takedown. Pennington working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pennington manages to pull guard.
Queue wants to get up but he can't break Pennington's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Pennington has Queue pulled in close to control his posture. Queue is looking to stand up but Pennington won't let him.

Queue got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pennington has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Queue has managed to get both his arms back between Pennington's legs - danger averted. Pennington escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Queue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Queue gets to his feet - Pennington follows without any prompting.

A frustrated look appears on Queue's face as he tries to break the clinch. Queue is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Pennington tries to throw a body punch but Queue avoids it by throwing Pennington back against the cage. Queue breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pennington on the wrong end of a nice hook. A lazy left from Queue finds it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pennington gets the takedown into side control. Queue throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Fah Queue is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Left hook, right uppercut from Queue. Pennington showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Queue.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pennington pushes off an throws an elbow but Queue leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Pennington wants to take the fight to the mat but Queue manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Queue wants to break the clinch but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Queue wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Queue wants to get back to striking at distance but Pennington won't allow it.

Pennington is looking for a counter combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Queue dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Queue misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pennington throws a big counter combination but Queue scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Pennington closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pennington decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Pennington gets the takedown into side control. Queue is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pennington has just dragged him back down to the mat. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Pennington decides to take the fight back to the feet. A big left from Queue misses. Pennington was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Queue loads up on a big right hand but Pennington slips the punch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Queue enables Pennington to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Queue manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pennington content to stall in guard here. Pennington gets to his feet. Queue looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Queue tries to bum rush Pennington with a series of wild strikes but Pennington uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pennington throws a big counter combination but Queue scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Queue stuffs the takedown. Queue gets tackled into the cage by Pennington. Pennington maintains the clinch. Pennington keeps control of Queue as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pennington tries to work over Queue's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Pennington tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Queue smiles and moves away.

A little feinted left hand from Pennington on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Queue will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
An attempted straight right counter from Pennington misses the target. Pennington avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pennington shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Queue manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Pennington slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pennington's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clarence Pennington will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Queue gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Pennington to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pennington stands up and waves to Queue to follow him. Pennington shoots in and bounces Queue off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Queue has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pennington is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Queue scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pennington in his tracks. Clarence Pennington is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A slow jab from Queue misses its intended target. Queue misses with a few strikes there.
Pennington shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pennington was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Queue is trying to get back to his feet.
