Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anton Mirc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis Rampage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Anton Mirc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Rampage!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage fails with the takedown
and Mirc counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rampage thinking.
Mirc feints a jab promting Rampage to slip. Mirc then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rampage slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Mirc motions for Rampage to come forward. Mirc throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rampage tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Mirc goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rampage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mirc appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Mirc. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mirc.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mirc, right into the meat.
Rampage staying out of range there.
Rampage with the counter takedown but Mirc avoids it easily.
Mirc falls off balance throwing a combination

and Rampage moves into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rampage unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mirc lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Mirc throws a head punch that misses.
Mirc is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Mirc pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Rampage can't find room to land a body shot as Mirc controls the action.

Mirc pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mirc digs a good body shot into Rampage's ribs.
Anton Mirc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mirc misses with a looping right.
Mirc tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rampage was well out of range. Poor timing from Mirc.
Mirc looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mirc misses with a looping left.
Mirc misses the shot to the body.
Nice takedown defense from Mirc. No joy for Rampage on that attempt.
A little feinted left hand from Mirc on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Anton Mirc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis Rampage.

Mirc slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mirc throws a body shot but no joy.
Mirc lands with a cross.
Mirc swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rampage.
Mirc connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rampage on the wrong end of a nice hook.

A head kick misses from Mirc.

Rampage has taken the fight to the clinch.

Rampage jumps into guard, dragging Mirc to the mat.
Rampage looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mirc is one step ahead there.

Mirc has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rampage to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mirc is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rampage pulls down on the head and he's put Mirc to sleep! This one is all over!
