Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Mcguire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Enron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zack Enron has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Mcguire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zack Enron!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Enron drives through and clinches with Mcguire against the cage.

Enron jumps into guard, dragging Mcguire to the mat.
Mcguire stopping the sweep attempt from Enron.
Mcguire wants to get up but he can't break Enron's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Enron looking for subs off his back but Mcguire has passed one foot through into half guard.
Enron is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Enron is still trying to improve position.

Mcguire looking for a submission but Enron manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Enron is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Enron tries to buck Mcguire off but Mcguire is having none of it.
You can see the frustration on Enron's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Enron explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Enron throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Mcguire tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Enron is in Mcguire's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Enron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Enron scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Enron takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Enron seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mcguire looks like he's trying to stand up.
Mcguire tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Enron with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Mcguire pushes Enron off looking to stand but Enron dives back in and keeps control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Enron is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Enron connects with a nice short shot to Mcguire's temple.
Enron takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Mcguire looks like he's trying to stand up.
Enron seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
It looks like Enron might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mcguire stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mcguire wants it to stay on the feet.
Mcguire was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Enron is pressed up against the cage. Mcguire has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Enron down to the mat. Enron avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Enron gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mcguire.

Aaron Mcguire is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mcguire fails in his attempt to clinch.
Enron bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mcguire's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mcguire looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Enron has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Enron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Mcguire counters by moving into the clinch.
Mcguire looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Enron prevents Mcguire from getting back to his feet.

Enron looking to sit in guard and control but Mcguire gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcguire tries to stand but Enron is controlling from the bottom.
Enron has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Mcguire stands up and waves to Enron to follow him.

Mcguire tries to sprawl but Enron drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Mcguire manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Enron has managed to clinch.

Enron breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Enron closes the distance and clinches.
Enron is trying to pull guard but Mcguire turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Enron tries to pull guard but Mcguire holds him up against the cage and eventually Enron drops back down to his feet.
Enron is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcguire jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Enron walks away with a smile on his face. Mcguire gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Enron shoots in and bounces Mcguire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Zack Enron will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Mcguire doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Enron feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mcguire is trying to break the clinch but Enron has him pressed against the cage.

Enron breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Enron throws a head kick but Mcguire moves out of range.

letting Mcguire counter with a right hand.
Enron takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Enron misses with a takedown attempt - Mcguire sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Zack Enron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mcguire holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A counter left hand to the body from Mcguire misses its target.

A low kick from Enron misses
and Mcguire counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Enron tries to bum rush Mcguire with a series of wild strikes but Mcguire uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Horrible takedown attempt by Enron or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcguire, which made it look bad.
Mcguire changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Mcguire lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Enron shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcguire pinned against the cage. Mcguire gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mcguire escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Zack Enron is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
