Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bald Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bobson comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Bob Bobson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Bobson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bald Bull! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bobson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bobson shoots in but no luck this time. Bobson tries to clinch but Bull moves out of range. Bobson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bobson shoots for a takedown but Bull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Bobson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bull fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bobson sprawls well initially but Bull persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bull wants to free his trapped foot but Bobson is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bull content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bull looking for a submission but Bobson manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Bull tries to free his leg and advance position but Bobson is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bobson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bull tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bobson tries to control but Bull wriggling away. Bull is desperately trying to improve his position but Bobson has a good base and remains in mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bull regains half guard. Bobson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bull's head. Bobson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Bull looking for submissions off his back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bull can do anything to dispel that myth. Bull looks gassed! Bull is trying to control but Bobson passes into side control!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bull struggling a bit here. Bull strikes from the bottom but Bobson takes advantage and advances to full mount! Bull can't escape the position.
Bobson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bull is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bobson unloading with bombs!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bobson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Bobson lands a big elbow. Bobson trying to control but Bull is having none of it. Bull is trying to escape the mount.
Bobson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bull manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bobson working the ground and pound from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bull is trying to control Bobson's posture but Bobson avoids it. Bobson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bull has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Bobson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bull drives through with a takedown into guard. Bull scoring with some ground and pound. Bull looking to sit in guard and control but Bobson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bull looking to control but Bobson passes into half guard.
Bobson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bull looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bobson missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bull is looking to control Bobson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bull avoid being mounted? Bull wants to improve his position but Bobson is controlling well.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bobson fails with the takedown and Bull decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bobson's guard. Bobson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bull working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bull is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bull trying to control but Bobson is working from the bottom. Bobson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bull has picked Bobson up and slammed him! Bobson can't keep hold of the triangle and Bull manages to pass to side control! Bull landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bobson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Check out the look on Bull's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Bull scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bobson to see if he's OK. Bull lands a nice forearm strike. A lull in the action here as Bull stalls from top position. Bobson taking a bit of punishment here - Bull scoring with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Bull politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bull prefers to stall for the moment though. Bobson is looking to regain half guard here but Bull keeps moving and retains side control. Bull lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bull has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bull works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Bobson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! You can see the frustration on Bobson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bull in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Bull goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bobson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bull's guard! Nice work there by Bobson! Bull seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bobson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bull swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bobson won't allow Bull to sweep him here. Bull is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bull is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bull working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bull trying to control the pace. Bull is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bald Bull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Bull as Bobson shoots in. Bobson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bobson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bull changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bobson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Bull tries for a kimura but Bobson is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bobson is not content to let Bull control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bull drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bull is putting a hurting on Bobson here, landing some big shots from side control. Bobson is looking to regain half guard here but Bull keeps moving and retains side control. Bull is putting a hurting on Bobson here, landing some big shots from side control. Bull lands some shots froms side control. Bull is working Bobson over with some ground and pound from side control. Bobson gets back to half guard. Bull throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Bull lands with a punch from half guard. Bobson manages to get to full guard.
Bobson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bull is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bobson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bobson has escaped and now he's on top! Bull manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bobson manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Bald Bull comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Bull has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
