Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everett Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carmito Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Everett Duncan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carmito Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hernandez throwing shots but Duncan is blocking nicely. Duncan tries to roll over but Hernandez keeps him under control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hernandez in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duncan trying to hold on to Hernandez's head to control him but Hernandez postures up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hernandez is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Hernandez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hernandez thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hernandez is standing up, even though he is in mount. Hernandez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Duncan to the mat! Duncan manages to get full guard. Hernandez looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hernandez gets to his feet - Duncan follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hernandez passes Duncan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hernandez controlling the pace. Hernandez is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Duncan still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Duncan has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Duncan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hernandez on the ground. Hernandez is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Duncan is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Duncan breaks from Hernandez's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hernandez can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Duncan looking to ground and pound but Hernandez is blocking nicely. Duncan wants to take his opponent's back but Hernandez doesn't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmito Hernandez dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Duncan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Duncan is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Hernandez presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Duncan jumps guard but Hernandez stands there with Duncan around his waist. Duncan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Duncan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hernandez just stands there and leans against the cage. Hernandez manages to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hernandez controlling Duncan's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hernandez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hernandez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duncan is keeping the position for now. Hernandez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Duncan really is a fat lump.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hernandez has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hernandez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Duncan on his heels. He'll look to pass Duncan's guard now, I'm sure. Hernandez advances to half guard. Hernandez missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hernandez seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Carmito Hernandez has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Hernandez. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hernandez thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Hernandez throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hernandez performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carmito Hernandez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Duncan wants to clinch up but Hernandez keeps it at a distance. Hernandez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hernandez lands an elbow. Duncan wants to control but Hernandez postures up. Hernandez is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Duncan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ground and pound from Hernandez seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hernandez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Duncan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Duncan takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hernandez tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Hernandez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hernandez stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hernandez drives through and clinches with Duncan against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hernandez is trying to trip Duncan. He has hold of a leg but Duncan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hernandez persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Hernandez stays in close to Duncan's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hernandez gets to his feet. Duncan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Duncan shoots for a takedown but Hernandez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hernandez has Duncan up against the cage in a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez is trying to force a seperation but Duncan has the dominant position. Hernandez pulls guard. Hernandez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Duncan has picked Hernandez up and slammed him! Hernandez can't keep hold of the triangle and Duncan manages to pass to side control! Who's going to make the next move? Hernandez gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Hernandez is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hernandez controlling the position well. Duncan throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hernandez manages to get to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Carmito Hernandez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hernandez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
