Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kam Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Glenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember the Name. Robert Glenn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Glenn but Glenn pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glenn as he jumps to the side. Johnson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kam Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Glenn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Glenn tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily and Johnson counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glenn is looking to reverse the position. Glenn is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Johnson is controlling him well. Johnson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Glenn gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glenn is looking to escape. Johnson is working for a kimura but Glenn is defending it quite comfortably.
Johnson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Glenn sees it coming and defends easily. Glenn is not content to let Johnson control the position. Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Glenn wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Glenn wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Glenn wants to clinch and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Glenn actively working from the bottom here. Glenn makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Johnson closes the distance and pushes Glenn back into the cage. Glenn unloads a knee to the mid-section. Johnson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Glenn wants a takedown.
Glenn with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Glenn looks gassed! Johnson wants a takedown.
Glenn throws a knee to the head but misses.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Glenn prevents it.
Glenn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson shoots for a takedown but Glenn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Glenn throws a head kick but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Glenn is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Glenn is trying to stand. Glenn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Johnson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Johnson working the ground and pound effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Johnson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Glenn is desperately trying to improve his position but Johnson has a good base and remains in mount. Johnson is working for a guillotine from mount but Glenn frees his head quite easily.
Glenn is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Johnson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Glenn is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Glenn flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Johnson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Glenn and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Johnson slips an arm under Glenn chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Johnson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Johnson is squeezing on Glenn like an anaconda would it's prey. Glenn fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kam Johnson!
