Shark's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stand My Ground. Begovic has chosen Cavoglave as his entrance music. Roland Begovic has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sharky Shark's chin.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Shark works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Begovic tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shark was well out of range. Poor timing from Begovic.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shark.

Shark bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Begovic takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Begovic gets tackled into the cage by Shark. Shark maintains the clinch.
Shark throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Begovic blocking some punches.

Shark lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Begovic or not.
Begovic wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Shark struggles to land a body shot inside as Begovic controls his hands.
Begovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Begovic sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Begovic misses with an uppercut. Shark saw that one coming.
Begovic drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Shark slips a straight right by Begovic.
Begovic pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Shark circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Begovic to the canvas! Begovic doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shark keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sharky Shark!
