Gates slips a straight right by Kemp.
Gates bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kriz Kemp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kemp misses with a hook. Gates ducked under it nicely.
Gates is looking to counter the offense by Kemp and move into the clinch.
Kemp leaves Gates with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Good exchange - Kemp coming out on top.
Gates displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kemp throws out the jab.

Kemp lands with a big right hook that stumbles Gates - he's out on his feet here! Kemp follows up with another monster hook that separates Gates from consciousness! Gates falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Kemp stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

A less than humble Kriz Kemp misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
