And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ober is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Irwin's half guard.

Ober is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Irwin has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Ober might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ober stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Irwin throws up his legs and catches Ober in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Ober tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Irwin! That came out of nowhere!
