Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sherman Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Zheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sherman Wilkinson has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sherman Wilkinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Elijah Zheng! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkinson shoots in and gets a takedown into Zheng's guard. Wilkinson stops Zheng from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilkinson stands up from Zheng's guard - Wilkinson perhaps looking for a knockout. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zheng has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Zheng throws a combination that misses and Wilkinson counters with a series of strikes. Zheng will be more careful next time no doubt. Wilkinson takes the fight into the clinch. Zheng pulls guard. Wilkinson decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Zheng throws a combination. Wilkinson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A head kick misses from Zheng. Zheng looks winded! Zheng lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wilkinson circles away quickly and effectively. Wilkinson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Zheng checks it well. Wilkinson avoids a kick to the body.
Wilkinson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zheng escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zheng misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wilkinson looking to score a takedown here. Zheng is defending well but Wilkinson drives through and ends up in Zheng's guard. Wilkinson stands up and waves to Zheng to follow him. Wilkinson has managed to clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Wilkinson.
Wilkinson gets a trip takedown into half guard. Wilkinson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Wilkinson clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zheng is defending well against a takedown attempt. Wilkinson breaks from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zheng fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilkinson manages to avoid it. Wilkinson has managed to clinch.
Wilkinson has picked Zheng up - he's going for a ride! Wilkinson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Wilkinson not doing much here.
Wilkinson decides to return to a standing position. Wilkinson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zheng to the ground. Wilkinson is now in Zheng's guard. Wilkinson stands and steps away. Zheng gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Wilkinson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zheng's half guard. Wilkinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilkinson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Wilkinson is looking for a kimura but Zheng is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wilkinson to get the leverage. Wilkinson decides to return to a standing position. Wilkinson moves into range and clinches up with Zheng. Zheng keeps control of Wilkinson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Wilkinson pressing his opponent against the cage. Wilkinson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wilkinson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zheng after a bit of a struggle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zheng pulls Wilkinson into guard.
Wilkinson gets to his feet - Zheng follows without any prompting. Wilkinson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wilkinson breaks the clinch.
Wilkinson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Zheng. Wilkinson throws Zheng to one side and escapes! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sherman Wilkinson dominated that round. That's time! Wilkinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Wilkinson has closed the distance and engaged Zheng in a clinch.
Zheng wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wilkinson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Wilkinson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Zheng really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilkinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wilkinson wants to stand up but Zheng is controlling him. Wilkinson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Zheng rolls with it to try and escape but Wilkinson cranks on the arm and Zheng is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
