Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Ramos! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Manik counters with a single leg into guard. Ramos didn't expect that. Ramos told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Manik wants to control from the top but Ramos keeps moving. Manik advances to half guard. Ramos blocking the ground and pound attempt from Manik. Manik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manik wants to work for an arm triangle but Ramos is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ramos can do anything to dispel that myth. Ramos is trying to get back to full guard. Manik missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manik is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ramos has managed to free his arm - good work. Ramos is refusing to be controlled, as Manik sits in half guard. Manik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manik wants to take a breather but Ramos is having none of it. Manik missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Manik is working for a submission of some sort.
Manik seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ramos is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
