Ruiz has chosen OCTAGON as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz throws a sloppy head kick and Mikhailovsky moves out of range easily.
Mikhailovsky shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mikhailovsky trying to control from half guard but Ruiz is working away.

Ruiz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mikhailovsky defends it easily.
Mikhailovsky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ruiz on the ground.
Mikhailovsky stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ruiz has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Mikhailovsky manages to get his head free but now Ruiz has transitioned to an armbar! Mikhailovsky grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ruiz! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
