Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Mcbride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kennedy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Alter Bridge - The Damage Done. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Kennedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Mcbride! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcbride swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mcbride is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kennedy drives through with a takedown into Mcbride's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kennedy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcbride wants to stand but Kennedy is controlling the position. Mcbride is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've been hearing that Kennedy has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Kennedy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennedy is looking to stand up but Mcbride won't let him. Kennedy showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kennedy's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Mcbride is trying to keep Kennedy in close.
Kennedy working some strikes from top position. Kennedy wants to pass the guard but Mcbride is keeping the position. Kennedy sitting in guard here, content to control. Kennedy postures up and lands a big shot to Mcbride's brow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kennedy looking to sit in guard and control but Mcbride gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kennedy looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mcbride thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kennedy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mcbride missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mcbride content to stall in guard here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy shoots in and drives through. Mcbride sprawls well. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Kennedy!
It looks like Jordan Mcbride has been cut. Kennedy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mcbride.
Kennedy wants to clinch. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kennedy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kennedy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mcbride knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Kennedy fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Kennedy lands a nice forearm strike. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kennedy working the ground and pound. Mcbride regains half guard, as Kennedy was trying to land strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcbride misses the shot to the body. Kennedy drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mcbride sprawls and moves away. Kennedy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mcbride can do to turn this around? Kennedy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mcbride defends it nicely. Kennedy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcbride quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennedy has hold of one of Mcbride's legs. Mcbride is fighting the takedown attempt but Kennedy gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Kennedy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kennedy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcbride utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mcbride can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kennedy controls the pace. Mcbride is trying to control the position but Kennedy postures up. Kennedy wants to pass the guard but Mcbride is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mcbride but Mcbride pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kennedy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcbride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kennedy with a lazy takedown attempt and Mcbride counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Kennedy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kennedy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcbride sprawls well. Mcbride wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kennedy gets slowly back to his feet. And Mcbride tries to counter it with a takedown but Kennedy pushes his down on his head and steps out. Mcbride keeps the fight on the outside. Mark Kennedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kennedy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcbride sprawls well initially but Kennedy persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kennedy is figuring out what he wants to do next. Mark Kennedy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kennedy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Kennedy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mcbride defending well though. Kennedy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Kennedy controlling the action here. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mcbride blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kennedy. Mcbride trying to control but Kennedy postures up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kennedy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mcbride is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcbride is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Mcbride keeping moving, preventing Kennedy from controlling successfully. Mcbride is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mark Kennedy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kennedy trying to control but Mcbride is working from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! Mark Kennedy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kennedy, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
