Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dragomir Turgulan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turgulan comes to the cage accompanied by Kings Never Die. Brian Jensen acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dragomir Turgulan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen fails with the takedown.
Jensen ducks under a wild hook from Turgulan.
Jensen takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jensen is looking to clinch but Turgulan is avoiding it.
Turgulan lands a jab to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jensen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Turgulan pinned against the cage. Turgulan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Turgulan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Jensen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Turgulan is controlling Jensen's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Turgulan is pressing down on Jensen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jensen drops back looking for a leg! Turgulan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Turgulan manages to kick Jensen off! Jensen jumps back into Turgulan's guard.
Jensen trying to control the position from guard on top but Turgulan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Turgulan working for a triangle but Jensen defends it easily.

Jensen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Turgulan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jensen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jensen forces his way into half guard.
Turgulan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jensen is working away from the top position though.

Jensen seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Turgulan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Brian Jensen!
