And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Lobo!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reagan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lobo misses with a jab to the body
and Reagan counters with a series of strikes. Lobo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rafael Lobo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reagan feints a jab promting Lobo to slip. Reagan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lobo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Reagan bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Lobo! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Reagan slips nicely into half guard.
Lobo is still in real trouble! Can Reagan finish him?
Reagan is trying to control the action in half guard but Lobo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lobo seems to have recovered his senses.
Lobo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reagan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Reagan is looking for a kimura but Lobo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reagan to get the leverage.

Lobo pushes Reagan off looking to stand but Reagan dives back in and keeps control.

Reagan wants to work for an arm triangle but Lobo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've been hearing good reports from Reagan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Lobo has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Reagan is on him like a limpet, forcing Lobo back against the cage.

Reagan gets control of Lobo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reagan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Reagan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lobo has his hands clasped together but Reagan extends and breaks Lobo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Reagan.
