The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balthazar throws a right hand that Maverick ducks under and follows up with a left that Maverick also avoids with ease.

Maverick moves into the clinch successfully.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Maverick creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Maverick lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Balthazar backwards.

Balthazar wants to get back to striking at distance but Maverick won't allow it.

Maverick creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Balthazar with a big uppercut! Balthazar tries to clinch up but Maverick pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Balthazar to the mat! Balthazar covers up and Maverick unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
