The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton takes the fight into the clinch.
Fulton is trying to stall.
Fulton digs a right hand underneath Fields's ribcage. Fields let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fulton escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fulton misses with a few strikes there.

Fulton gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Jacen Fields has been cut.
Fulton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fields jumps guard but Fulton stands there with Fields around his waist. Fields gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fulton lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Fields trying to control the position but instead, Fulton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fields into the ropes.

Fulton is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Fulton lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Fields or not.
Fulton lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Fulton cracks Fields with a big right hand and Fields goes down!
Fields will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fulton stands and throws Fields's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Fulton grinds an elbow into Fields's temple.

Fulton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fields keeps working.
Fulton content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Let's hope that Fulton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Fields tries to bench press Fulton off him but Fulton keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Fields's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fields is trying to work for a sweep but Fulton has mounted him!
Fulton takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fulton feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Fields crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
