Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Zepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zepp comes into the arena with Boom! Shake The Room blaring out of the sound system. Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Mercenary. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Smith lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Zepp moves out of range of the strikes.
Zepp was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Zepp throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.

Zepp slips a jab from Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zepp walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Zepp went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Zepp steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Smith.

and Zepp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Smith misses with a hook. Zepp ducked under it nicely.

and Zepp connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Zepp moves out of range as Smith throws a body kick.
Zepp throws a quick counter head kick but Smith was just out of range.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Zepp checks a leg kick.
It looked like Zepp was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Zepp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Zepp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Zepp to counter with a crisp jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith cracks Zepp with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The fighters circling - Smith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Zepp throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.

Smith scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A relieved looking Bobby Zepp thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
