Knott comes to the cage accompanied by Kanye West vs. The xx - Touch The Sky (Carlos Serrano Mix) . Buster Knott had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knott misses with a takedown attempt
and Naoki connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Naoki.
Naoki throws a head kick but Knott moves out of range.
Knott doesn't manage to clinch there - Naoki circles away.
Naoki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knott.
Knott feinted with a counter takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Naoki. No joy for Knott on that attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Knott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Knott passes Naoki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

My spies in The Coffee Shop inform me that Naoki has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Naoki is working the ground and pound. Can Knott escape?
Naoki lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Naoki looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Naoki backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Knott's temple! It sends Knott violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Naoki celebrates and the doctors try to help Knott!

Takeshi Naoki was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Buster Knott spoke after the fight, saying 'I'm young and still have a lot of upside. The same cannot be said of you.'.
