Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ellis Barkway Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ante Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat instigates a clinch.
Horvat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horvat tries a head kick but it misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Horvat or perhaps it was just good defense by Barkway Jr, which made it look bad.

Horvat shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barkway Jr sprawls well. Barkway Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Horvat gets slowly back to his feet.

Horvat looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barkway Jr has picked Horvat up and slammed him! Horvat can't keep hold of the triangle and Barkway Jr manages to pass to side control!
Horvat is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Barkway Jr is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Horvat tries to lock up and control but Barkway Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Barkway Jr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Barkway Jr sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Horvat slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Horvat pushes Barkway Jr off looking to stand but Barkway Jr dives back in and keeps control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Horvat darts in looking for a takedown but Barkway Jr gets double underhooks and turns Horvat into the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Horvat is pressed up against the cage. Barkway Jr has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Horvat down to the mat. Horvat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ante Horvat seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Barkway Jr moves into range and clinches up with Horvat.
