Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Byron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Givi Zurabovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Byron! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Givi Zurabovich! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Byron has a takedown stuffed. Byron fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zurabovich avoids it really well and circles away. Byron misses with a takedown attempt - Zurabovich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Zurabovich looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Byron. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zurabovich gets the takedown into side control. Byron can't do much from the bottom here. Byron tries to bench press Zurabovich off him but Zurabovich keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Byron wants to get back to his feet but Zurabovich drags him back down. Byron tries to buck Zurabovich off but Zurabovich is having none of it. Zurabovich wants to stand but Byron is controlling his arm. Zurabovich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Byron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Byron struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zurabovich staying calm. Byron is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Zurabovich asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Byron tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zurabovich wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Zurabovich working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Zurabovich just content to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Byron sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Zurabovich takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Zurabovich decides to return to a standing position. Zurabovich stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zurabovich wants it to stay on the feet. Byron is breathing heavily. Byron tries for a takedown but Zurabovich circles away easily and Zurabovich counters with a nice double leg into guard. Zurabovich trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zurabovich must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zurabovich looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Zurabovich would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Byron being controlled here, momentarily. Zurabovich lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Byron keeping moving, preventing Zurabovich from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Byron controls Zurabovich momentarily but Zurabovich frees himself.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Zurabovich closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Zurabovich is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Zurabovich drags the fight down to the ground.
Byron stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zurabovich swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zurabovich looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Zurabovich looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Zurabovich had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Byron defends it easily. Byron won't allow Zurabovich to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Givi Zurabovich dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Zurabovich drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Byron takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Zurabovich is trying to move to mount but Byron reverses beautifully and ends up in Zurabovich's guard. Byron is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zurabovich keeping moving, preventing Byron from controlling successfully. Zurabovich can't keep his opponent in guard - Byron advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Byron trying to control the action but Zurabovich is working from the bottom. Byron has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Zurabovich defend it? Byron steps over the head and cranks it - Zurabovich is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Byron!
