Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dante Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sylvester Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick has chosen Fast as a Shark as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Alastair's head.
Alastair closes the distance and clinches.
Alastair is pressed up against the cage. Quick has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alastair down to the mat. Alastair avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Alastair closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

enabling Alastair to counter with a crisp jab.
Quick throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alastair makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Alastair counters with a three punch combo that has Quick backing up. Quick nods at Alastair to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Quick looks to land a combination. Alastair sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dante Alastair's cut is getting worse.
Alastair wants to clinch up but Quick keeps it at a distance.
Alastair drives through and clinches with Quick against the cage.
Alastair jumps guard but Quick stands there with Alastair around his waist. Alastair gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Alastair loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Quick uses the cage to get back to his feet.

and Alastair counters with a three punch combo that has Quick backing up. Quick nods at Alastair to acknowledge the strikes.
Alastair misses with a takedown attempt - Quick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dante Alastair. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Alastair counters with a nice double leg into side control. Quick won't be happy with that.
Quick manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Alastair lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alastair lands strikes from half guard.
Alastair working over Quick with some ground and pound. Quick looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round.Quick won't allow Alastair to pass to mount.
Alastair decides to stand up.
Alastair lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Quick is rocked!
A combination from Alastair does no damage.
Quick is still on wobbly legs! Can Alastair finish him?

Alastair misses with a few strikes there.
Alastair dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Quick has had enough and taps out.
