Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Stampfer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wampage Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Come Over (feat. Stylo G) as his entrance music. Paul Stampfer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Stampfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wampage Johnson! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Nice cross by Johnson. Some bone on bone action there as Stampfer checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Johnson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stampfer is landing a low percentage of strikes. A big right from Stampfer misses. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Johnson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stampfer has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stampfer and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Johnson slips under a jab from Stampfer. Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stampfer works the jab nicely. Stampfer throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely. Stampfer blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Stampfer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Johnson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Johnson misses with a hook. Stampfer connects with a nice looking jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson avoids the body shot from Stampfer.
Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Stampfer's shoulder, as Stampfer tries to avoid the shot. Stampfer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Stampfer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stampfer moves into the clinch. Stampfer takes a shot to the head. Johnson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Johnson tries to work over Stampfer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Stampfer prevents a body shot from Johnson. Stampfer misses with the head strike.
Stampfer swings wildly with an uppercut but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson scores with a nice hook to the head. Johnson struggles to land a body shot inside as Stampfer controls his hands.
Stampfer breaks from the clinch.
Stampfer throws a jab when Johnson was well out of range. An inside leg kick from Johnson misses. Johnson misses the jab. Stampfer looks to throw the jab but Johnson is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson looks to land a combination but Stampfer avoids it well. Stampfer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson. Johnson misses with an uppercut. Stampfer saw that one coming. Stampfer shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Stampfer or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Stampfer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stampfer lands with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stampfer darts in looking for a takedown but Johnson gets double underhooks and turns Stampfer into the cage. Stampfer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson. Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Stampfer. Stampfer gets slowly back to his feet. Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stampfer breaks from the clinch.
Stampfer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Johnson. Johnson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stampfer manages to avoid it. Stampfer is looking to counter punch. Johnson is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson looks to land a combination but Stampfer avoids it well. Stampfer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily. Johnson throws a hook but Stampfer blocks it. Stampfer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Stampfer bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Johnson cracks the inside of Stampfer's front leg. Stampfer shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stampfer tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Johnson looks to land a right hand but Stampfer moved out of range. Johnson has managed to clinch.
Johnson misses with some punches.
Stampfer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Johnson prevents it.
A head punch on the inside from Stampfer fails to land. Johnson throws a head punch that misses. Stampfer breaks from the clinch.
Johnson throws a looping overhand right but Stampfer ducks down to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson pounces like a tiger and cracks Stampfer with a vicious hook! Stampfer is down but not out! Johnson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Wampage Johnson! Wampage Johnson decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
