Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Cobb! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Strzebor Sobieski! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobieski misses with a double jab
and Cobb counters by moving into the clinch. Sobieski is looking to break free of the clinch but Cobb has double underhooks. Sobieski tries to break the clinch but Cobb is controlling the position. Sobieski working hard to break the clinch. Sobieski misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sobieski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cobb has him pressed against the cage. Cobb really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill... Sobieski is trying to break the clinch but Cobb is controlling him. Cobb works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Cobb working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cobb's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cobb gets to his feet. Sobieski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Cobb has managed to clinch.
Cobb could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sobieski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cobb has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sobieski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobb lands a shot to the head. Cobb has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Sobieski is in real trouble here. Cobb gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Sobieski is tapping out! Cobb wins by rear naked choke!
