Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Snead looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Snead lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Toole scores with a jab to the jaw.
Snead lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Ottis Toole has been cut.
Snead loads up on a big right hand but Toole slips the punch.
The fighters circling - Snead throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Snead drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Toole defends it well.

Snead thows a left - swing and a miss!

Snead misses with a straight right.
Snead dips to his left and cracks Toole with an uppercut!

Toole lands a glancing blow to the side of Snead's head.
Toole misses with a low kick.
Snead fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Toole is out of range.
Snead thuds his right hand into Toole's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Snead moves away from the strike by Toole.
BAM! Snead delivers a spinning backfist that drops Toole like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Sam Snead!

Ottis Toole spoke after the fight, saying 'My opponent may have won this time, but I'm going to eat his children. '.
