The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huto has managed to clinch.
Trevino is trying to push Huto away but Huto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A bit of stalling here from Huto.

Huto is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Trevino can't fight it off and eventually Huto manages to take the fight to the floor. Trevino looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Trevino pushes Huto off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Huto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trevino is looking to stand up but Huto won't let him.
Trevino postures up in Huto's guard and throws a big left but Huto blocks it.

Trevino gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Huto throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Trevino appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Huto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Huto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Trevino tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Huto gets to his feet - Trevino follows without any prompting.
Huto comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Huto drives through and clinches with Trevino against the cage.

Huto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Trevino gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Huto to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Huto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trevino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Trevino is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Trevino wants to control but Huto is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Trevino is pressing down on Huto's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Trevino isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Huto stacks Trevino on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Huto!

Trevino closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Huto's guard.

Trevino tries for a takedown but Huto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Huto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Huto throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trevino tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Huto is in Trevino's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Trevino manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Huto wants to break the clinch but can't.

Huto has Trevino pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Huto pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Trevino tumbling to the mat - Huto dives into Trevino's guard.

Trevino escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Huto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

William Huto is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Trevino thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

I would just about give that final round to William Huto.
Well Huto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
