Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edwardo Carey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustu Bekcer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rustu Bekcer! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carey uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bekcer. Carey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bekcer. Carey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Carey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bekcer's guard. Bekcer is pulling down on Carey's head to control his posture. Carey throws a big elbow that misses. Carey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. That's one minute gone in the round. Bekcer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carey. Carey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bekcer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Carey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bekcer utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Carey is looking to work some ground and pound but Bekcer has wrist control. Carey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Carey throws a big right hand that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carey throwing strikes from guard but Bekcer blocks nicely. Bekcer pulls Carey in close to his closed guard and prevents Carey from doing any damage or advancing position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Carey closes the distance and clinches. Carey blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bekcer tries to throw a body punch but Carey avoids it by throwing Bekcer back against the cage. Carey tries to pull guard but Bekcer forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Bekcer stops a takedown attempt from Carey.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bekcer. Bekcer lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bekcer lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A short right from Bekcer. Carey lands a shoulder strike. Bekcer misses with a punch to the body.
Carey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bekcer pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edwardo Carey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bekcer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carey to score an easy takedown into full guard. Carey is breathing heavily. Carey with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carey cracks Bekcer with a solid left hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carey gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. A big left from Bekcer misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bekcer cracks Carey with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Edwardo Carey has been cut. Bekcer has managed to clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Edwardo Carey will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Edwardo Carey's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Carey's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Bekcer swings wildly with an uppercut but Carey uses good head movement to avoid it. Bekcer controlling the action here for a moment.

More strikes from Bekcer and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Carey lies dazed against the cage as Bekcer celebrates with his cornermen!
