Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Ellison Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Blunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellison Jr comes to the cage accompanied by i aint never scared. Harry Blunder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blunder scores with a kick to the midsection.

Blunder gets a takedown into half guard.
Blunder passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ellison Jr!

Blunder gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Blunder takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Blunder feints and as Ellison Jr raises his hands in defense, Blunder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Blunder stands and steps away. Ellison Jr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Blunder dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ellison Jr. That did some damage!

Blunder closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ellison Jr's guard.

Blunder stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Ellison Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blunder sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ellison Jr somewhat.
Blunder closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Harry Blunder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blunder drives through and clinches with Ellison Jr against the cage.

Blunder gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Ellison Jr regains guard.
Blunder is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Blunder slips nicely into half guard.
Ellison Jr wants to improve his position but Blunder is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

No joy there for Blunder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's time! Ellison Jr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ellison Jr dives in and grabs Blunder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blunder pushes down on Ellison Jr's head and hops out.

Blunder breaks from the clinch.
Blunder lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Blunder connects with a body shot.
Ellison Jr takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Blunder manages to break the clinch.
Ellison Jr takes a kick to the side of the head.
Blunder scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Blunder moves into range and connects with a jab.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ellison Jr.
Blunder wants to counter with a clinch but Ellison Jr pushes him away.
Blunder lands with a kick to the temple. Ellison Jr shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Blunder has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ellison Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blunder swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ellison Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Blunder can pounce on him.

Blunder closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blunder lands in his opponent's guard.

Blunder decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ellison Jr, up you get!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Blunder manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Blunder gets control of Ellison Jr's arms and successfully pulls guard. Blunder will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Harry Blunder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Blunder manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blunder is on top in guard.

Let's hope that Blunder has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Blunder shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ellison Jr is trying to defend but Blunder finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Well Blunder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
