Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palais tries to score a power double leg takedown but Biglad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Palais somewhat.
Biglad lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Palais misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Biglad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Palais circles away quickly and effectively.
Biglad cracks Palais with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Biglad wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palais shoots in but no luck this time.
Biglad appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

and Palais takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Biglad counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Owain Palais. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Biglad connects with a stiff jab that staggers Palais - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
