Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brody's entrance music is my name is mud. A fine choice. Dunne has chosen Titantron as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bob Brody has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunne manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brody on his heels. He'll look to pass Brody's guard now, I'm sure. Brody trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brody's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Brody continues to stall. Brody has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dunne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dunne preventing the sweep. Brody controlling the position. Dunne trying to stand up but can't free himself from Brody's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunne won't allow Brody to sweep him here. Brody is working hard here to advance position. Brody lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brody stands up over Dunne, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Brody content to stall in guard here. Dunne wants to stand up but Brody is controlling him. Brody slips nicely into half guard. Dunne is looking for a sweep. Brody is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Brody wants to work for an arm triangle but Dunne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dunne is not content to let Brody control the position. Brody works his foot free and advances to mount. Dunne really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Dunne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brody. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brody looking to control but Dunne is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brody working Dunne over with strikes here. Dunne really wants to buck Brody off and get back to his feet. Dunne wants to hold on but Brody pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brody is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dunne to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dunne shrugs it off. Dunne tries to hold on but Brody postures up. Brody landing punches. Dunne is looking to improve his position but Brody isn't that keen on the idea. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brody controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne wants to control but Brody is having none of it. Brody lands a big elbow. Dunne is bucking up trying to escape but Brody cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Dunne wants to try and get back to his feet. Brody is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dunne can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Brody looking to secure an arm triangle but Dunne defends it well. Brody is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dunne is surviving well by controlling Brody's body position as best he can. Dunne tries to lock up and control but Brody gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunne might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brody haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Brody wants to finish this one by submission but Dunne is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Brody. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brody is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Brody!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Bob Brody! A less than humble Bob Brody misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
