Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ante Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilhaume Prevot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ante Horvat has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Prevot does no damage.
Prevot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Horvat throws a head kick but Prevot moves out of range.
Guilhaume Prevot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prevot throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horvat wants to clinch up but Prevot keeps it at a distance.
Prevot feints a jab promting Horvat to slip. Prevot then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Horvat slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Prevot shoots for a double leg takedown but Horvat sprawls well. He's pushed Prevot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horvat lands with a straight right. Prevot didn't see that one coming.

Horvat decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prevot manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Horvat keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Horvat seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Prevot does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Prevot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Prevot moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Horvat instigates a clinch.

Horvat gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Prevot regains guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Prevot is on top in guard.

Guilhaume Prevot is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Prevot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
